Born and raised in San Diego County , I am a graduate of the University of California , San Diego where I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. I then attended the University of San Diego School of Law. I have been a member of the California Bar Association since 1995.

I have dedicated my entire career exclusively defending those accused of criminal offenses. Prior to opening my own practice, I also worked with the San Diego Public Defenders office, San Diego Federal Defenders.
